First off, thanks for all of the help and recommendations getting this new tank started. My first freshwater tank too. The pictures look blurry when uploading to imgur so would be curious to see what you use to upload pics to this site. You can see the stocking that I landed on in the signature (plus the 3 gold fish from the cycle).

Let me know what you think in general, feedback, suggestions and if I should think about adding any other fish.

Also, what do you think about a second featherfin to this tank?

A fish I am a big fan of, would do well in a big tank is the Festivum. A school, of a dozen would fit real nice. Are you planning to keep bare bottom? Cichlids like to dig, push stuff around. Some sort of thin substrate would make the gang happy! Never had a Featherfin myself, so I cant comment on whether conspecific aggression is high in the species.

Agree. Substrate would be a nice addition IMO. Unless you prefer the look of a bare bottom tank, I would throw some sand in there.

Assuming you understand the risk of a catfish + an oscar, a second feather fin would probably be just fine. They can be quite aggressive and territorial but in that size tank with plentiful hiding spots and caves it should be just fine.
