Hi, recently I switched my food from API Cichlid Pellets (small) to Hikari Gold Cichlid Pellets (large). Now when I feed them the new large pellets, as soon as I stop feeding them the Oscars sink to the bottom and stay there for a while. I only feed them while there aggressively eating and I drop the pellets in one at a time so I don't see how they could be over-eating. They are in a 55 gallon aquarium right now but within the week they will be transferred to a 90 gallon, I'm just waiting for it to completely finish cycling. Eventually they will go in a much bigger tank but I don't think that the tank size should affect their eating habits especially since their both relatively small (less than 6 inches).

My Oscars will often sink to the bottom after feeding so I don't think you have anything to worry about. A change in food may be causing your oscars to sulk a little but as long as they are eating no problem.
150 gallon 2x Tiger Oscars
