I am a huge fan of New Life Spectrum. I started using it about a year ago. I feed Hikari Biogold and NlS and im very impressed with the results.
This was my red devil before adding nls

and after hes about a year older in this picture. Since i moved to syracuse and can only go home on a few weekends due to school and work. He gets bleached out. But after a couple hours he turns that nice red color on his head. Im thrilled with this stuff and will continue to use it.

I picked up some of the cichlid new life spectrum mini pellets at the low low price of $0.45 on clearance in lfs. I liked the ingredient listing. I don't like that 1 pinch scatters and drops so quickly that much of the food appears to go to waste. My small cichlid fish like what they can find but aren't exactly going hog wild for it. In even with a small pinch it appears much goes to waste as it swirls around then drops and fish don't find it. A larger sized pellet, which I haven't tried, would probably be much better. On the upside, the left overs do not appear to significantly or even at all cloud the water. Good ingredients though.
