A sad day here on O-fish as we have recently learned of a members death. To most of us, she was Mrs. Fish, the Photo of the Month MC, and a kind woman. To her personal friends, family and four sons she will be survived by, she was Teresa Houlden. Teresa passed away on November 7, 2008 from pancreatic cancer.
She joined O-fish on February 05 and easily made friends. She had two Oscars that I know of, one that had passed away last year or so. They were well taken care of as she was very passionate about her “river dogs”. She was also passionate about the wonders of nature that occurred closer to her home, as she was an active advocate of the Alderman Nature Reserve.
Based upon my last few years of interacting with her, Teresa was always a polite, positive force here on O-fish. She had her staunch opinion of certain things, but for the most part she was someone who could always lighten the conversation, and of course give great advice. On behalf of the Site Staff, and all of the active members of O-fish: Teresa, we will miss you, but we will never forget you.
