I realized that I already had him for a month after browsing pictures of his arrival! I was able to take a decent picture of him just now and was excited to share it with you guys (because it's really hard to get a good pictures of them T_T)

Anyway, I'll be using this little space to post progress pics of Leo!

Week 4 at around 3.5"

Love baby oscars. So cute.

Too bad their coloration changes so much. His current color/pattern is so cool.

Beautiful Oscar
I had an Oscar with similar colour pattern, in time his body become mainly red with black tail and fins, it was the best Oscar I ever had.

Thank you all! I am not sure if he gets lonely being the only fish in his tank, but I'll make sure to take care of him properly and watch him grow to a big beautiful oscar!

Thank you for the compliments. Last night I noticed that a small part of his left fin was damaged, and scales under those were kinda white. It seems that he might have hit himself somewhere hard. I can only think of the log decoration inside, but he currently uses it as his hiding place. Will observe some more if he sustains any additional injuries

Hi Guys! Leo is now 8 weeks old!

Not much has changed since week 4, color pattern is still the same, but he is growing fast! he's already more than 4 inches.
Here's a pic of the poop machine I took some days ago

I still get excited when he gets excited when I'm around :)

In other news, I got myself a new tank!

It's pre-owned, and got it cheap! 3.5g. I'm new to aquascaping, but had lots of help browsing around. 1 week 1 day of cycling.
Still not yet sure what to put in, but probably shrimp
