have you attempted to feed him blood worms in the last couple of days? If he eats those and refuses the pellets, he's not sick he's just being stubborn
65 gallon
2 yellow tail aceis
1 yellow top finned Lawanda
2 male cobues, 1 cobue fry
6 female cobue peacocks
2 Synodontis lucipinnis
1 electric yellow

5.5 Gallon
red finned, blue and white marbled Delta tail betta

30 gallon
3 males, 4 females

this morning I tried to feed him all the different types of food again still had no luck with the cichlid/carnivore foods but he did eat the krill grain. Would krill grain be a staple diet for an Oscar?

If your oscar isn't eating, there will be no poop....

because he will eat krill and blood worms, fasting him until you win the pellet battle is the only way.

I feel like this is one of the most common issue people face with Oscars. All mine have done this too, and then started to eat pellets again. You have to be more stubborn then they are. Eventually they will give in, they won't let themselves starve. It's like they're trying to train you to give them what they want; Very smart fish.
